Our Story
Company Founded
HydroXcel was established with a mission to advance hydrogen fuel cell technology. From day one, we focused on PEM fuel cell R&D and the core challenge of metal bipolar plate manufacturing.
First Standardized Production Line
We invested in central Zhejiang’s first standardized hydrogen fuel cell production line, achieving an annual capacity of 500 fuel cell stack and system sets.
First Vehicle Delivery & Overseas Expansion
In January, our independently developed hydrogen fuel cell sanitation vehicle — powered by a 50kW HX-ES engine system — was delivered into service in Zhejiang Province. The same year, we began actively developing overseas markets in the United States, Australia and Malaysia.
Quality Certifications & City Bus Commissioning
Obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification and CE certification for fuel cell systems. Our HX-ES-65K powered hydrogen fuel cell city bus completed certification and commissioning.

We independently design and manufacture metal bipolar plates — the critical component that determines fuel cell stack performance and cost. This vertical integration gives us full control over stack quality, power density and supply chain.
Full Hydrogen Chain Coverage
From hydrogen production, storage and refilling to end-use power generation and vehicle propulsion, we provide integrated solutions. Our product range spans fuel cell stacks, engine systems, power generators, hydrogen storage cylinders and booster compressors.
Scalable Manufacturing
Two production facilities in Jinhua and Dongguan covering 4,500 m² with an annual output of 500+ fuel cell systems. Our standardized line handles everything from low-power air-cooled stacks (250W–3kW) to industrial water-cooled systems (up to 1MW).
Proven Global Track Record
Deployed systems across Europe, Africa, North America, Asia-Pacific and Australia — from 5kW fuel cell systems to a 100kW power plant with 140kg hydrogen storage in South Africa.
