What is solid state hydrogen storage?
Hydrogen is absorbed into a metal alloy, forming a metal hydride. It is stored as a solid at low pressure, and released on demand by gentle heating — a fundamentally safer way to hold hydrogen than compressing it as free gas.
How is the canister refilled?
At only 3.5 MPa — reachable with a compact electric hydrogen booster or air-driven gas booster, or through our solid state hydrogenation machine. Canisters can also be swapped like batteries.
Solid state vs. high-pressure cylinders — which do I need?
Solid state wins on safety, indoor use and low-pressure infrastructure; compressed gas wins on weight and fast discharge at scale. Tell us your application and we will recommend the right route.
